Glenn Lott, CPA, CA
President
Glenn obtained his CA designation in 1987 while working for KPMG. In 1994, Glenn decided that being a Senior Audit Manager at a large public-company accounting firm was not what he enjoyed doing. That is when he decided to create his own firm focusing on owner-managed businesses. Glenn found that his practical and easily understood business and tax planning advice is much appreciated by business owners. Being able to help owner-managers minimize their taxes, protect their assets, save for retirement and plan for their estate using his business and tax planning strategies is of great satisfaction to Glenn. The firm’s motto is: “let us take care of the accounting and tax planning for your business so that you can do what you do best – run your business.”
Glenn is known for his integrity, honesty and great sense of humour by his colleagues, staff and his family. He is very active in the community, both in public service capacities, such as the Richmond Hill Board of Trade, and in local sports organizations. Glenn is also a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation. His leadership and dedication are much sought after.
When he’s not in the office, Glenn is playing hockey, slo-pitch or golf. To say that Glenn likes to keep busy is an understatement. He has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to play for a touring old-timers hockey team, which has visited numerous European countries over the years. He also won a provincial championship in slo-pitch with his York region team.
